Baton Rouge, LA native Donald R. Dunbar Jr. is a senior, majoring in business management (supply chain) at Southern University and A&M College-Baton Rouge (SUBR).  During his first year at SUBR he was involved in numerous organizations including the Student Government Association, Dolores Margaret Richard Spikes Honor’s College and Men’s Federation. He later became a member of the Collegiate 100 and was initiated into the Alpha Sigma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He served as the Junior Class President for the 2018-2019 school year.  He is the President of the Student Government Association (SGA) for 2019-2020 and on June 1, 2019 he began serving a 1-year appointment as the student representative on the Southern University System Board of Supervisors. After college, Dunbar plans to pursue a master’s degree in Sports Administration at Louisiana State University. He lives by the quote, “The time is always right to do what is right.”  He is the proud son of Zoe Turner and Donald Dunbar Sr. of Baton Rouge.
